Kent Nagano conducts Hamburg Opera and Hamburg Philharmonic Orchestra

In April and May, General Music Director of Hamburg Opera, Kent Nagano, leads the Opera in three productions. Firstly, a revival of Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde a continuation of Berlioz’s Les Troyens, which had its premiere in September 2015 and the world premiere performance of La Passione – a realisation of Bach’s St Matthew Passion directed by Romeo Castellucci.
Nagano will also conduct the Hamburg Philharmonic Orchestra in two concert performances, featuring Gabrieli’s canzonas from Sacrae, Boulez’s Répons and Brahms’ A German Requiem.
