On July 23 and July 26, 2026, Kent Nagano conducts two concerts with the KlangVerwaltung Orchestra at the Herrenchiemsee Festival. The first concert includes Beethoven’s concerto for piano and orchestra No. 2 with Mari Kodama as the soloist as well as Mahler’s Symphony No. 4. The second concert includes Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 in D minor, Op. 125, with closing chorus based on Schiller’s ode “Ode to Joy”.
