On 25 February 2022, Staatsoper Hamburg released the season opening production Les Contes d’Hoffmann by Jacques Offenbach on DVD. The new production by Daniele Finzi Pasca under the musical direction of Kent Nagano was performed on the main stage on 4 September 2021 and was recorded with EuroArts in co-production with ZDF and NHK, with collaboration from Arte, Mezzo and Deutsche Grammophon.
